A genuinely unusual and highly collectable piece of Seaham sea glass featuring a beautiful brown amber “end of day” panel set against frosted white glass.
Handpicked from Seaham Beach in the North East of England, this striking piece was originally created during the glassmaking process when leftover coloured glass was combined at the end of a production run. Decades of tumbling in the North Sea have transformed it into a wonderfully smooth and naturally frosted treasure.
The rich amber-brown centre glows beautifully when backlit, contrasting perfectly against the soft white outer edge. Pieces with this kind of strong colour separation and preserved patterning are increasingly difficult to find.
